Our daddy, Bob Gudel began working on cars in our backyard in the early 70’s.

In 1977 the Gudel family rented a 3 bay garage on Hixson Pike. After many years of hard work and long hours, we built Gudel’s Garage in 1981. In 1992 we built Gudel’s Body Shop behind the garage, and instantly we became an “All in One Stop Shop”.

Or Mother, Maw Goob was the secretary as well as the parts runner. She left skid marks wherever she went, but the guys were never waiting on parts!

In 1994 Daddy was on a wrecker call when he had an aneurysm in his stomach and died unexpectedly. His funeral procession was the longest we have ever seen.

Now in 2016, the garage is ran by John Gudel, Donna Gudel and Helen Gudel Keef. We have continued to provide the honest and dependable work that he started in 1977.
